
Justin M. Faiferlick, Fort Dodge, Iowa, is the Vice Chairman of the Board - Field Operations. He is a Life Member and has been active in AFA, chartering the Fort Dodge Chapter and serving in several positions at the chapter, state, and national levels. He has served as Chapter President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, and as a State Vice President and President.
Faiferlick has served at the national level as a National Director and has chaired the Membership Committee for two years. He served on the Field Council, Transition Review Team, and Nominating Committee. Faiferlick was recognized as State and Region Member of the Year, AFA Medal of Merit and Exceptional Service Award and in Iowa with Governor’s Volunteer Award and as one of the Top 40 under the age of 40 as an outstanding community leader. Faiferlick received a bachelor’s degree from Buena Vista University and a Master in Arts in Management with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from American Military University.
He started his military career as an enlisted member in the active duty Air Force in 1987. He continued his enlisted career in the Iowa Air National Guard in 1991 and received his commission in 1998. Faiferlick was hired full time at the 133d Test Squadron in 2001 with a mixture of Maintenance and Operations experience. He graduated from the Air Battle Manager Course earning recognition for Outstanding Academic Achievement as the Distinguished Graduate and graduated #1 in his class. Faiferlick has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He was also stationed at the Combined Air Operations Center as a Control and Reporting Center liaison officer. Faiferlick currently serves as an officer in the Iowa Air National Guard as the Director of Test with the 133d Test Squadron with over 20 years of total service. He also coaches football, wrestling, and golf for Saint Edmond Catholic School. Justin is a 4th degree black belt and has taught TaeKwonDo for over 20 years winning multiple championships at the state and national level.
He and his wife, Deann, have two children. The family most enjoys golfing together. Deann works for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and is actively involved in AFA. She has held most positions at the chapter level. She has been the Chapter President and currently serves as the State President for Iowa. Both children attend Saint Edmond Catholic School. Kelsey is a senior and is looking forward to attending college and golfing at the collegiate level. Michael is in 8th grade and is active in football, basketball, track, and golf.
