Member Get A Member Campaign
 

Time Period: October 1 – December 31 2008

Prizes:

  • 2nd Prize –$1,000
  • 3rd Prize – 16 GB iPOD Touch

Important:
To qualify for campaign prizes whether using the on-line or paper form, applications must include the following information in addition to all standard data:

  • Recruiter’s Name
  • Recruiter’s Phone Number, and if known, Recruiter’s AFA Member Number
Online applicants must also respond to the question “How did you find out about us? Please select one.” with the response “(15) Member-Get-A-Member” available from the drop down list.

Rules:

  1. Member-Get-A-Member applications must meet all requirements stated below in order to be eligible for the campaign.
     
  2. The member must be recruited between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, 2008. Membership applications must be entered online/postmarked no later than December 31.
     
  3. Each application must include full payment.
     
  4. Recruiters will be awarded one chance to win for every new member they recruit.
    1. Even with a single recruitment, you have a chance to win!
    2. The more members you recruit the more chances you have to win.
       
  5. Award recipients will be chosen in a random drawing to be held at AFA headquarters in January 2009. All prizes will be awarded. Award winners will be notified by telephone.
     
  6. Recruiters must ensure that each membership application (either on-line or paper) includes the recruiters name, phone number and member number.
    (To find you member number, look at the mailing address block on the front cover of your Air Force Magazine. Your member number is located between the # symbols just under the barcode.)
    1. There will be space for this information on both the on-line and paper applications.
    2. If you are using an older application, please add the recruiter’s name, phone number and/or member number to the back of the application.
    3. Use the links above to read and print a paper application or to register on-line.
       
  7. Each application must include the code “HGM” in the lower right corner. If your application does not show the code, you may write it in by hand. The on-line registration and paper form available from this page include the code.
     
  8. To qualify for chapter recruitment credit for new members recruited during this campaign, each application must include the chapter name or chapter number along with the recruiter’s information as previously explained.
     
  9. AFA National Officers and AFA Staff may not compete in this challenge.
