Lt Col Romeo and Josephine Bass Ferretti Scholarship

This scholarship is made possible by a bequest from the estate of Lt Col Romeo and Josephine Bass Ferretti and was established for minor dependents of enlisted airmen pursuing an undergraduate degree in the area of science, technology, engineering and math. This will be awarded to a student upon completion of their final year of High School who is entering an accredited institute of higher learning, with a stated intent to study in the area of science, technology, engineering or math.

For the 2008-2009 school year, two scholarships, each in the amount of $2,500, will be granted. Applicants must be graduating from high school with the intention of entering a full-time bachelor’s degree program, and be accepted into an AFROTC program, majoring in one of the following areas: science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

Once the recipients are selected, the Air Force Association will notify them. The recipient’s university will receive the check which can be used for any education related expense.
