The Air Force Association, AFA Chapters and USA TODAY Education continue to provide the Visions of Exploration Program to 4th-12th grade classrooms throughout the country. Over the course of this partnership, we have together impacted approximately 1,300 classrooms each year reaching more than 100,000 students.
Visions of Exploration provides educators with a curriculum designed to enhance students understanding of math, science, engineering, technology and aerospace education. This program is an ideal way for chapters to give something back to the community and inspire today’s youth.
BENEFITS TO AFA CHAPTERS:
- Creates and expands awareness for your chapter.
- Allows chapters to maintain an active relationship with local schools and the community.
- Inspires students to accomplish goals and explore careers in the fields of math and science.
- Educates students on the importance of aerospace technology today and in the future.
- Increases student knowledge base and teaches them to think critically and communicate more effectively both orally and in writing.
- Provides a standards-driven program that can be easily integrated into an existing STEM curriculum.
