USA TODAY Education and the Air Force Association’s 200+ Chapters have partnered over 19 years to bring the Visions of Exploration Program to 4th through 12th grade classrooms. Together we have impacted nearly approximately 227,500 students in 1,300 classrooms nationwide each year.
Visions of Exploration provides educators with a curriculum designed to enhance students’ skills in math, science, engineering, technology, and aerospace education.

- Help students become… knowledgeable on how to think critically and communicate both orally and in the written word

Program Costs:
- 18 weeks option: $114.00 per classroom
30 USA TODAY newspapers delivered to each classroom per week
- 28 week option: $120.00 per classroom
20 USA TODAY newspapers delivered to each classroom per week
USA TODAY…
…Works directly with each classroom teacher throughout the program. They also provide each teacher with the option on when they would like their classrooms newspaper’s delivered each week.
PROGRAM COMPONENTS:
- iUSAT -Weekly activity newsletter emailed weekly to participating teachers
- Standard driven STEM lesson plans available on www.education.usatoday.com
- Provides teachers a range of multidisciplinary activities tied to each day’s news events
- Makes available additional aerospace activities to the teacher’s www.education.usatoday.com.
- Gives Five Educator Grants in the amount of $250.00 will be awarded to the top five teachers who have creatively integrated the Visions of Exploration Program into their classroom each year
- Provides letters ready to be sent to the teachers and home to parents welcoming them to the program
How to get started…
- Decide how many classrooms you wish to sponsor
- Select schools your chapter would like to sponsor or let USA TODAY select them on your behalf
- Register your chapter
- After you registration is received you will be provided with an invoice from the Air Force Association’s Headquarters
