Vista Palace Hotel is $264, plus $12 per night resort fee, plus applicable taxes, currently 11 ½%.

In addition, we are holding sleeping rooms at our overflow hotel: The Grosvenor Resort,
right next door to the Buena Vista Palace. The room rate there is $137, plus applicable taxes. You can reserve
rooms there by calling: 800 624-4109 and mention the Air Force Association.
Military
The Air Force Association is holding a limited number of sleeping rooms at the Buena
Vista Palace at a Government Rate of $149.00 per night, plus $6.00 per room per night Resort Fees, plus applicable
taxes (currently 12.5%). These reservations will be accepted on a first-in basis, until the block of discounted
rooms is full. Then the next available rate at the Buena Vista Palace is $264.00 per night, plus $12.00 Resort Fee
per night, plus applicable taxes (currently 12.5%) will apply until our cut-off date of Friday, January 5th, 2007.
After that, the Buena Vista Palace will only sell rooms at the prevailing rate at the time of your call. This rate
will be at a much higher, if the hotel is not sold out completely. Make your reservations NOW.
To take advantage of the special rates at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel, please call
them at (407) 827-2727 between 8:30 to 4:30 EST, Monday to Friday and ask for the Rooms Control, and mention the Air
Force Association. NOTE: DOD Employees with ID Cards and
Active Duty Military with ID Cards should receive the
government rate. You will be
asked to show this ID when you check into the hotel. If you do not have an active duty military ID at check-in, you
will be charged the higher rate listed above ($264).
Our overflow hotel for the Symposium and Gala is the Grosvenor Resort, immediately next
door to the Buena Vista Palace. The rate there is $137.00 per night, plus $8.00 per night Resort Fees, plus
applicable taxes (currently 12.5%). The book sleeping rooms at this special rate call 800-624-4109 and identify
yourself as an Air Force Association Symposium Attendee. The cut-off date for this rate at the Grosvenor Resort is
January 1, 2007. Reservations received after this date will be on a space available basis and charged at the rates
in effect at the time of your call.
To guarantee your reservation, you will need to provide a credit card to the hotel
when you call. The hotel will automatically charge the first nights’ deposit to your account when they receive the
reservation request. The hotels will accept room cancellations with a six-day advance notice. Cancellations within
six days shall forfeit, or be billed for the first nights’ lodging.
Golf Tournament:
The Central Florida Chapter of AFA will sponsor a golf outing on Wednesday, February 7th at Walt Disney World’s
Magnolia Palm Courses.
Gala:
The Central Florida Chapter of AFA will sponsor their 23rd annual black-tie Gala on Friday, February 9th at Buena
Vista Palace Resort & Spa.
