Exhibitor Service Center

Welcome to the Air & Space Exhibitor Service Center. This will be the one stop for any and all exhibitor information relating to the Air & Space Technology Exposition.

  • Schedule Information

  • Exhibitor Service Kit -- This manual contains all of the forms necessary for exhibiting at the 2011 Air & Space Technology Exposition. A password is required to access this information which is posted expressly for the use of Air & Space Technology Exposition exhibitors and appropriately permissioned contractors. If you are a contracted exhibitor and need the password, contact Dennis Sharland, Manager, Industry Relations and Expositions. If you are a contractor, contact your client.

  • AFA Display Rules -- In order to maintain a professional appearance and ensure equal visibility for all exhibitors, AFA follows the IAEE Guidelines for Display Rules & Regulations. Please refer to these guidelines while designing your booth space. If you have a need to deviate from the rules as written, you must contact the AFA Exhibit Manager for authorization. Deviating from the rules without permission could result in the required correction of any violation at your risk and expense at any time during the event.

  • Suitcasing Policy - Suitcasing is a parasitic business practice in which unethical companies will gain access to an event by obtaining some type of event credential (attendee badge, expo-only badge etc.) and then solicit business in the aisles or other public spaces used for the conference. This practice skirts the support of the organizer and the industry. This does not pertain solely to soliciting the attendees of an event. As we all know, some of your biggest customers/vendors can be other exhibiting companies. So, when a salesperson for “Joe’s Manufacturing” (who is not exhibiting) shows up in your booth in an attempt to earn your business as a sub on your next big contract, they are suitcasing.

AFA has a zero tolerance policy regarding suitcasing.

  • Publication Distribution Policy -- The Air Force Association prohibits the unauthorized distribution of any materials (printed or electronic) at its conferences, expositions and symposia. Exhibiting companies may display and distribute their materials from their booths only. Representatives of non-exhibiting companies who violate this prohibition will be considered to be suitcasing and will be required to purchase booth space (if available) or surrender their credentials and vacate the conference area, in keeping with AFA’s suitcasing policy. Exhibitors who violate this prohibition may be expelled from the exhibit floor without refund.

For more information on exhibiting at Air & Space contact Dennis Sharland, Manager, Industry Relations and Expositions at dsharland@afa.org or 703-247-5838.
