Veterans & Spouses Career Fair

Applicants
The Career Fair will be held at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Fair in National Harbor, MD, in conjunction with the AFA Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition.

The dates and hours are:

  • Tuesday September 18 -- 9:30AM – 4:00PM
  • Wednesday September 19 -- 9:30AM – 4:00PM

During these times employers will be available to meet with you. Additionally there will be a number of workshops, run by the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) on a variety of subjects to assist you with your job search.

Requirements to participate
You must be a veteran, an active duty service member (Reserve and National Guard included) from any branch of the service who is planning on a near term separation from the service or the dependant spouse of an active duty service member.

Cost – free

Attire – Business attire or uniform of the day.

Registration is required – Preregistration online is preferred (online registration link here). Be sure to follow the instructions in your confirmation email for submitting your resume in advance for electronic distribution to all participating employers.

Please bring photo ID, sufficient copies of your resume and be prepared to discuss your qualifications on the spot.
