Airport Information
The Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. Located only 9 miles north from the hotel. Visit

It departs every twenty minutes from the Gaylord’s front door and every twenty minutes from baggage claim. It runs between 6:00am and 8:00pm and costs $18 one-way per person or $32 roundtrip per person. To make shuttle reservations, please call 800-660-8000. Super Shuttle is the same cost; however, it might make additional stops and not go straight to your destination. A taxi will cost approximately $20 one-way from Reagan National. Taxis can be found outside of baggage claim.
Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is 35 miles northwest from the Gaylord. Visit

Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) is 38 miles northeast from the Gaylord. Visit

AFA Shuttle Bus
AFA will provide complimentary shuttle bus service on Thursday and Friday between the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center and the King Street Metro Station** during the Conference. (**The King Street Metro shuttle will be run through the Gaylord’s shuttle system.) AFA will cover your shuttle cost from/to the King Street Station on Thursday, March 31st between 8:30am and 6:30pm and Friday, April 1st between 7:30am and 4:15pm provided you use this shuttle voucher. When you exit the Metro, please exit at the “parking lot exit side” to find the Gaylord Shuttle right where the "Alexandria Old Town Trolley" stop is located. Metro/Water Taxi
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) provides bus and subway service (Metro) around the DC area. Unfortunately, at this time, there is not a convenient Metro option near the hotel. The preferred Metro stop to use is the King Street Station in Old Town Alexandria, which is across the river from the hotel. There is a shuttle from the King Street Metro to the Gaylord. The shuttle runs 6:30 am to 9:00 pm on Sunday through Thursday and 6:30 am to 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. A schedule can be found here. The cost is $7 one-way and can be purchased at the Gaylord Transportation Desk or from the bus driver. (**AFA will cover your shuttle cost from/to the King Street Station on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:00am to 5:30pm. Please see AFA Shuttle Bus paragraph above for more details.**) When you exit the Metro, please exit at the “parking lot exit side” to find the Gaylord Shuttle right where the “Alexandria Old Town Trolley” stop is located. There is also a free trolley from King Street Metro to a commercial water taxi ($8 each way for a 30- minute trip; it runs daily 10:50am – 11:15pm from Old Town; more details at http://www.potomacriverboatco.com/).
Downtown Shuttle Bus
The Gaylord offers a shuttle from the main entrance of the hotel to the Old Post Office (1100 Pennsylvania Ave, NW) and Union Station (H Street & 2nd Street). The shuttle runs continuously between 8:00am and 9:00pm, seven days a week. Cost is $13 one-way, $20 round-trip or $49 for an unlimited 3 day pass. Stop by the hotel’s Tour Transportation Desk to purchase tickets. For those taking the Gaylord Shuttle from Union Station to the hotel who have not purchased tickets from the hotel’s Transportation Tour Desk: you can catch the On Board Shuttle in the 3rd lane of Columbus Circle. You will need to pay the driver in cash.
Trains
