The AFA National Symposium on Space
In the 21st Century, space capabilities serve all warfighters. Space provides for precise navigation and timing, missile
warning, surveillance, space control, weather tracking, and communications. In fact, space assets are essential to all
military operations and to the nation. Airmen, soldiers, sailors and marines in the field require critical information to
do their jobs and to stay ahead of the enemy.
At the 2006 AFA Los Angeles National Space Symposium and Ball, top military and commercial leaders
will address the contributions of space to the combat environment and current challenges affecting the military, civilian, and
commercial space partnership.
