Air Force Association Announces Half-Price Membership Discount for E-1s through E-4s
Arlington, VA, February 3, 2005—The Air Force Association (AFA) is pleased to announce a new half
price membership fee for E-1s through E-4s. This offer, effective immediately and for an unlimited
time, enables E-1s through E-4s to join AFA for a discounted annual fee of $18—half off the regular
yearly price of $36.00.
“We’re excited about the E-1 through E-4 discount membership program and about increasing the
opportunity of young Airmen to join our Association,” said AFA Executive Director Donald L. Peterson.
“AFA works for a strong Air Force, our Air Force members and their families.”
By joining the AFA, members receive 12 monthly issues of AIR FORCE Magazine, the professional journal
of the Association. Members can also take advantage of other benefits including financial services,
insurance, education and career services, discount medical services, travel services, access to a
“Members Only” online community, and more.
AFA educates the public about the critical role of aerospace power in the defense of our nation;
advocates aerospace power and a strong national defense; and supports the United States Air Force and
the Air Force Family. Membership is open to anyone who is serving or has served in any of the military
branches and their spouses as well as their lineal ancestors or descendants. Additionally, other
interested persons may join in patron status.
