Media Registration Available for 2008 Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition
Arlington, VA – The Air Force Association’s 2008 Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition is just around the corner, and media registration is now available.
The three-day event, September 15-17, 2008, features more than 30 speakers, including topical forums, professional development workshops, addresses by the Air Force’s senior leaders and a Four Star Forum.
Among this year’s highlighted speakers are best selling author Dale Brown and Gen. Richard Myers, USAF (Ret), former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, with additional speakers to be announced.
More than 6,500 people attended last year’s Conference & Exposition, which featured 137 exhibitions showcasing the latest in aerospace technology developments.
Plan now to attend at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Road NW, Washington, DC. Your first stop should be the Media Room at Room 8228 at the hotel. Media badges giving you access to all the forums and additional press availabilities will be available for reporters showing valid credentials from your news agency, photo ID and a business card. Freelancers need a letter from the editor of the assigning publication. For your convenience, please register in advance online at http://www.afa.org/events/Conference/2008/media.asp.
