Air Force Association Releases Special Quadrennial Defense Review Report

10/23/2006 - ARLINGTON, Va. – The Air Force Association recently released a special report, In the Wake of the QDR, the Quadrennial Defense Review and its Consequences. The report examines the historical development of the QDR, and its effects on Air Force strategy in the post Cold War world. It provides a look at this assessment of the nation’s strategy, doctrine and policy and the associated balance between military requirements and resources to execute our strategy.

Authored by John Correll, a veteran defense writer and former editor of AFA’s monthly journal, Air Force Magazine, the report is a factual, informative and detailed examination of the linkage between national military strategy and force requirements.
