Air Force Association Chooses USAA Bank for Credit Card Services
SAN ANTONIO, TX – USAA and the Air Force Association (AFA) are deepening their alliance by offering a unique co-branded credit card to AFA members.
USAA and AFA now offer the Air Force Association USAA Rewards™ World MasterCard® credit card to qualified AFA members to help support various AFA programs. When applying, individuals will be able to select from nine different images to put on the face of their card.
“This new service further develops our relationship with USAA and offers us a great opportunity to provide financial support for our members,” said Mike Dunn, president and CEO of AFA. “We appreciate the alliance with USAA as we continue our efforts to support our armed forces and their families.”
The relationship began in March 2010 when USAA was named AFA’s preferred provider for checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit through its bank and investment products through its investment company – all delivered with USAA’s award-winning customer service.
According to retired Chief Master Sgt. Eric Benken, USAA Air Force programs manager and the 12th Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, the new credit card builds upon an already great relationship with AFA, and continues the efforts by USAA to help facilitate the financial security of the U.S. military members and their families.
“Both USAA and the Air Force Association are committed to serving military members and their families and are very mindful of their service and sacrifice,” said Benken, a lifetime AFA member. “The affinity relationship between these two exceptional organizations is a natural fit and will be very beneficial for AFA members.”
