Air Force Association Announces New
National Board of Directors
Arlington, VA, September 15, 2000 - The Air Force Association
(AFA) selected its new board of directors at the Associations
recent National Convention and Aerospace Technology Exposition,
held in Washington, D.C., September 11-13, 2000.
Elected are (in no specific order):
John E. Craig II, Virginia (Central East Region)
Former Virginia State President and President of the Donald W.
Steele Sr. Memorial Chapter.
Currently, he is the Central East Region President.
Arthur F. Trost, California (Far West Region)
Former National Vice President, Far West Region, California State
President and President of the Golden Gate Chapter. Currently, he
is the California AFA Chairman of the Board and a member of the
Finance Committee.
Coleman Rader Jr., Minnesota (North Central Region)
Former Minnesota State Vice President and President of the General
E.W. Rawlings Chapter.
Currently, he is the Minnesota State President.
Howard R. Vasina, Colorado (Rocky Mountain Region)
Former Colorado State President and President of the Colorado
Springs/Lance P. Sijan Chapter.
He is also a life member of AFA.
Thomas J. Kemp, Texas (Texoma Region)
Former Texas State President and President of the Fort
Worth Chapter. Currently, he is the Texoma Region President and a
life member of AFA.
Robert E. Patterson, Florida (At Large).
Former President of the Eglin Chapter and Florida State AFA
President. Currently, he is the Eglin Chapter Vice President for
Programming and a life member of AFA.
At a meeting May 27, 2000, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the
Air Force Association Nominating Committee selected a slate of
candidates to the six positions on the Board of Directors. The
committee consists of the five most recent past National President
and one representative from each of the 14 US regions.
