Air Force Association’s Nineteenth Annual Air Warfare Symposium

"Air and Space Warfare: Meeting the Challenge"
The Gulf War, Kosovo and Afghanistan confirm the rising imperative of air and space warfare and the critical role of airpower in the security of the nation. Airpower will be key to the success of military transformation and the global war on terrorism. One hundred years after the invention of the airplane, the 19th Annual Air Warfare Symposium will examine what strategy, capabilities and forces will define the Air Force of the future.

HOTEL/TRANSPORTATION
For hotel reservations, contact the Wyndham Palace, (407) 827-3333 or the Grosvenor Hotel (located nearby) at 1-800-624-4109, and mention that you are attending the AFA symposium. The Industry rate for rooms at the Wyndham Palace is $221 per night. Day parking is $6 and valet overnight parking is $10. Mears Transportation shuttles are available from the airport to the hotel at a rate of $26 per round trip.

The deadline for hotel reservations is Tuesday, January 7, 2003. You may inquire after that date for room availability.

MEDIA REGISTRATION: Media will be registered and will receive symposium badges on site. News media must show valid credentials, including photo identification and a business card, Pentagon Press Badge or letter from your organization stating your business at the symposium.

MEDIA AVAILABILITIES: Media availabilities will be posted and announced in the media room at the hotel. Please contact Ladd Everitt, or a representative in the media room on site, for information.
