America's capabilities in space have been a unique source
of national strength, enabling the nation to project power and
influence around the world and to sustain our position of
economic leadership. Space is an area of vital national
interest that requires a strong government and industry
partnership. At this Air Force Association-sponsored symposium,
military and industry leaders will address a range of issues
facing the space community, including the findings from the
separate Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, and Department of Defense
reviews of space launch capabilities.
