Uland Selected Teacher of the Year in Texas

The General Charles L. Donnelly, Jr. Chapter in Wichita Falls, Texas recently hosted the AFA Texas Summer Convention. Ms. Paula Uland from Farmersville Independent School District was honored as the AFA Texas Teacher of the Year.

Uland, a 5th grade Science teacher, has been with Farmersville Independent School District for 23 years. She definitely has the kids learning experience at the top of her list. She loves to find new ways to peek the student’s interest in areas such as Math, Science, and Technology. She is one of the most active members of a team that is currently raising funds for the new Science Center at the school.
