Hanscom AFB Teacher Recognition

On May 14, the Paul Revere Chapter presented three recognition checks and gifts to Pat Tynan, second and third grade teacher at the Hanscom Air Force Base Primary School and to Janice Fairchild, a sixth grade social studies teacher at the Hanscom Air Force Base Middle School. Both teachers were selected for exceptional classroom instruction during the second quarter of the calendar year.

Tynan was applauded for her focus with the children in her class. Principal Randy Davis said “Pat’s organized, clear and consistent style has been just what so many of the Hanscom Primary School students need!”

Having reached 25 years of teaching experience at the Hanscom Middle School, Janice Fairchild has not only surfaced as an energetic social studies expert but she is also the sixth grade team lead. Her input is valued by the school principal and as Janice said during the ceremony: “I simply love coming to work!”
