Embry Riddle Silver Wings Recognizes Howell

Chapter President Jack Howell was honored as recipient of the Mary Ann Thompson Silver Wings award. The award was presented by Embry Riddle AFROTC Silver Wings president Cadet Lanell Craig. This award represents the leadership, mentoring and close interest Howell has provided this past year.

“My involvement with the AFROTC Detachment is as a result of my duties for the past three years as president of the Brig. Gen. James McCarthy Chapter 397 of the Air Force Association,” says Howell. “There were 52 Air Force Association members, throughout the country, nominated for this award. It was a complete surprise and an honor to win this award.”
