Capriglione Chapter Selects Lopez for Scholarship

Sal Capriglione Chapter 190 awarded its' annual scholarship to Cadet Major Julian Lopez. The Sal Capriglione Memorial Skyway Foundation Scholarship Award was presented at the New Jersey Institute of Technology ( NJIT ) AFROTC Detachment 490 Dining Out on April 15 by Chapter President Martin Capriglione.

Cadet Major Julian Lopez is the Operations Training Squadron Commander of Detachment 490 Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Newark, New Jersey. As OTS Commander, he is the cadet responsible for the planning, execution, and standardization of all training for the Field Training Preparation cadets as well as the General Military Course cadets.

C/Major Lopez will graduate in 2011 from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Marketing.
