2009 AIAA Foundation Educator Achievement Award

Jeri Martin, Hurlburt Aerospace Education member, Hurlburt and Florida Region Teacher of the Year, former Aerospace Education Foundation Trustee and 8th grade physical science teacher in Pace, Florida, is one of seven nationally chosen American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Foundation Educator Achievement Award winners. She will be honored at the AIAA Aerospace Spotlight Awards Gala in May at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC.

The AIAA Foundation presents the Educator Achievement Award every two years to precollege educators demonstrating exemplary efforts in exciting K-12 students about the study of mathematics, science, and related technical studies and preparing them to use and contribute to tomorrow’s technologies.
