Florida Educator Honored

Lt Col Sharon Branch, Senior Aerospace Science Instructor at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida, recently received a richly deserved AFA Florida State Presidential Citation for exemplary volunteer service and leadership.

Tim Brock & Lt Col BranchSharon acts as the liaison for the Kitty Hawk Air Society and AFJROTC and served as volunteer coordinator for the Annual AFJROTC Drill Meet Competition for the State of Florida. In that role, she managed procurement, preparation and presentation of all AFJROTC Drill Meet Trophies sponsored by individuals and AFA Chapters in Florida.

Colonel Branch brought her FL-881 cadets to compete as “Team Schriever” in the CyberPatriot I competition demonstration and is fielding a team in this year’s CyberPatriot II competition.

We applaud her continued service to her Nation and the Air Force Association!
