Arnold Air Society (AAS) and Silver Wings (SW) reach out to AFA Chapters

The ROTC Cadets of AAS/SW are making a special effort to reach out to local AFA Chapters to forge a stronger and mutually beneficial relationship. Not everyone realizes that all AAS and SW members are also AFA members. Moreover, these exceptional young leaders are eager to assist you in executing the AFA mission, while at the same time, learning from the wealth of experience gained during your careers in the “real” Air Force and post-Air Force life. The National Commander of AAS and National President of SW briefed the delegates at this year’s Convention and have described their initiative in the attached letter. Their goal is for each AAS/SW Squadron/Chapter to make personal contact with their local AFA Chapter during the month of October, and they have produced an extensive cross reference matrix of unit contact information (included as an attachment to their letter). Why not beat them to the punch.

Interested in a younger, enthusiastic, and willing-to-work volunteer in your Chapter? Call your local AAS/SW unit today!
