| CyberPatriot AFA Website Updated – Rollout Next Month
The AFA CyberPatriot website at: http://www.afa.org/CyberPatriotII.asp has been updated for the impending rollout of CyberPatriot III on 12 May 2010 at the National Press Club. That event will formally announce the new “Presenting Sponsor” of the competition, Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC). NGC’s generous multiyear grant has made the nationwide expansion of CyberPatriot possible.
AFA States and Chapters can help this initiative most by publicizing the competition to local high schools where they have an existing relationship. We are most concerned with getting the word out to high schools without a Junior ROTC or active Civil Air Patrol unit nearby, although other-Service (Army, Navy, Marines) JROTCs are also “targets” for CyberPatriot III. The “CyberPatriot Briefing” on the website is a downloadable brief field leaders can use now to begin their marketing effort.
