AFA Sponsors East and West Coast AFJROTC Drill Championships

A total of 37 teams competed at the AFJROTC Eastern National Drill Championships held in the Macon, Georgia Coliseum on March 19. While the competition was fierce in all categories, Lackey High School, MD-931 finished first in the Armed Division while East Paulding High School, GA-20051 took top honors in the Unarmed Division.

Armed Division runner-up honors went to Spring Valley High School, SC-064, and Lackey High School, MD-931, finished second in the Unarmed Division.

Thirty-one teams competed at the AFJROTC Western National Drill Championships held in the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas on March 19.

When the completion was over, two teams were clearly the top two teams to beat next year. John Jay High School, TX-782, took top honors in both the Armed and Unarmed Division while Tom C. Clark High School, TX-793, finished second place in both Divisions.
