Company Grade Officers Council
 

The Company Grade Officers’ Council is comprised of officers from the Air Force’s major commands, operating agencies and direct reporting units. They represent officers in the rank of second lieutenant through captain.

The responsibilities of the Company Grade Officers’ Council are as follows:

  1. Develops Air Force policy recommendations on quality of life and quality of service issues, which impact company grade officers serving in the Air Force.

  2. Identifies and prioritizes quality of life and quality of service issues, driven by legislative action, which impact company grade officers serving in the Air Force.

  3. Prepares input, to include background information, and recommend action by the Air Force on these issues.

  4. Makes recommendations to the Air Force through the Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel on policy issues which impact Air Force Company Grade Officers.

  5. Responds to Air Force requests for study, evaluation, and/or recommendation on issues affecting Air Force Company Grade Officers.

  6. Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Air Force

Captain Jill A. Durbin

Captain Jill Ann Durbin is the Air Force Materiel Command representative to the CGOC. She is a Manpower Officer working A-76 Competitive Sourcing studies in the Capabilities Branch of AFMC/A1MC. A prior enlisted TSgt, Captain Durbin has earned Community College of the Air Force degrees in both her previous Air Force Specialties, Services and Manpower, before graduating from Regis University, Colorado Springs, CO with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. As an enlisted troop, she served eight years in the Services career field and three years in the Manpower career field. During her enlisted time, Captain Durbin deployed to Guam for Typhoon Omar relief and to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to support Operation SOUTHERN WATCH. She was notified of selection for Officer Training School (OTS) on Sept 11th, 2002, the 1 year anniversary of New York City’s Twin Towers terrorist attack. Captain Durbin attended Officer Training School (OTS) in the Summer of 2003 and Air & Space Basic Course in 2004. As a Manpower, Personnel & Services officer, she has worked at the Dover MPF as OIC of the Relocations & Employment Section, MSS Unit Deployment Manager and PERSCO Team Chief before moving over to be Section Commander for the Maintenance Squadron. Captain Durbin is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Language and Communications. As of 5 Aug 2007, Captain Durbin has 16 years of active Air Force service. She is married to AF retired MSgt Ross Durbin and has two sons, Peter (13) and James (8).


Captain Paul Hendrickson

Captain Paul Hendrickson is the AFCGOC representative to the AFA council. He is a Space Applications and Integration Test Officer with the Space Innovation and Development Center, Detachment-2 at Langley AFB, VA where he supports ACC, JFCOM and the Global Cyberspace Integration Center (GCIC) to ensure emerging space systems are integrated into the Air and Space Operations Center and related DCGS weapons systems.

Captain Hendrickson graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering and received his commission through ROTC in 2002. He has served as the Chief Engineer for the GPS Metric Tracking Program and as Program Manager for ICBM Guidance Applications. He is married to Rachel Wickern of Helotes, Texas.


Captain Jason J. Miller

Captain Jason J. Miller is United States Air Forces in Europe’s representative to the CGOC. He is the squadron section commander for the 86th Maintenance Squadron, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. He attended the University of Iowa and received a bachelor’s degree in 2002. He was commissioned through the Air Force ROTC program, Detachment 255, University of Iowa. He was previously assigned to Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, where he served in multiple positions culminating as Executive Officer, 30th Mission Support Group. Capt Miller is married to the former Sonia M. Reyes of San Luis Obispo, California, and they have no children.


Captain Kelli Moon

Capt Kelli Moon is Air Force Special Operations Command representative to the CGOC. She is the Legislative Liaison to the Commander, Air Force Special Operations Command at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Capt Moon received her commissioning through the Reserve Officer Training Corps in 2001. She received a BA in Political Science from the University of South Carolina in 2001 and an MA in Political Science from St. Mary's University, Texas in 2004. Capt Moon has held numerous positions, to include Director of Operations, Executive Officer, Flight Commander, Squadron Section Commander, Chief of Career Enhancements and her current position as a Legislative Liaison. Her professional military education includes Aerospace Basic Course in 2002 and Squadron Officer School in 2006. Her previous assignments include Lackland AFB, TX from 2001 to 2005. Capt Moon is also currently serving as the Vice Chairman for the Air Force CGOC.

Captain Jeremy B. St. John

Captain Jeremy B. St. John is Air Education and Training Command’s representative to the CGOC. He is Commander, Military Training Flight, 343rd Training Squadron, Lackland AFB, Texas, where he is responsible for exercising command authority and enforcing UCMJ actions in the Air Force’s largest flight, ensuring the morale, health, and welfare of approximately 1,600 Security Forces technical training Airmen daily and 5,000 annually.

Captain St. John graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and received his commission through ROTC in 2002. He has served in numerous positions including Squadron Section Commander, Mission Support Group Executive Officer, and Officer-in-Charge of two Military Personnel Flight sections. He is married to the former Lisa Key of Fort Worth, Texas, currently an Intelligence Officer at Randolph AFB.
