The purpose of the program is to recognize classroom teachers at the national level for their accomplishments and achievements in exciting K-12 students

for AFA to reward special teachers who are furthering excellence and making coming to class an adventure.
To be eligible, the candidate must be a former AFA State Teacher of the Year selected during the most recent past two years – 2008-2009 or 2010 to date.
