Make the Most out of Your Community Partner Program
AFA’s Community Partner (CP) Program provides excellent opportunities to increase income and membership for your chapter. This
program allows your chapter to reach out into the community and recruit members.
A Community Partnership costs the business only $90 for one individual or $180 for two individuals. These are full memberships with
AFA for the individual. They receive all the benefits of a regular membership including Air Force Magazine and benefits under AFAVBA.
Your chapter is able to keep half of all dues for each Community Partner making it a great source for additional income.
Getting started and finding a Community Partner is easy. Start with the businesses you use every day. Approach the owner or general
manager of the company and express to them how you feel about AFA and our mission to Educate, Advocate and Support the United States
Air Force, the Air Force family and aerospace education. Make sure to highlight our outstanding Air Force Magazine available to them
each month. New Community Partners will also receive an AFA Plaque and window decal allowing them to visually demonstrate their
support for our troops.
Chapters are encouraged to reach out to their Community Partners every chance there is. Go beyond just inviting the CPs to your
meetings. If you are holding a chapter golf outing, invite the company along as well. This allows the company employees to network
with your members. It is important to make the business feel like part of the AFA family.
The Community Partner Program is just one of many ways to increase your chapter’s funds and membership. Please use the link provided
