AFA Produces Radio Spot to Celebrate the
60th Anniversary of the US Air Force

AFA has just finished producing five 30- and 15-second Public Service Announcements celebrating the 60th anniversary of the US Air Force for nationwide distribution. The five announcements focus on different aspects of the past 60 years … the People, Training, Technology, Heritage and the Future.

All Chapter, Region and State Presidents will receive the PSA's so they can pass them on to their local radio stations for airing. The objective is for AFA leadership at the local level to make contact with the stations in their community and explain the importance of airing these spots and taking a moment to honor the first 60 years of the US Air Force.

AFA will also be targeting radio stations in those cities where the Air Force is having large airshows/celebrations, and providing the stations directly with the USAF 60th spots. The PSA package should be reaching AFA chapters by the end of June.
