Recruiting New Leaders

Have you considered …?

  • Making PERSONAL CONTACT. Mailings and telephone calls mostly don’t work.
  • Telling them you need THEIR talents and ideas. The best way to fail is to tell someone they’re just filling a square or no one else wants the job.
  • Talking to them on THEIR turf or in a professional setting. Try lunch.
  • Taking another ENTHUSIASTIC AFA member along to help make the appeal. Use senior leaders if they’re available.
  • Don’t overload them
