Nominating Committee Identifies 2011 Candidate Slate

The AFA Nominating Committee met on May 6, 2011, and identified the following slate of candidates:

Chairman of the Board: Sandy Schlitt, Sarasota, FL (2nd term)

Vice Chairman of the Board – Field Operations: Justin Faiferlick, Ft. Dodge, IA (2nd term)

Vice Chairman of the Board – Aerospace Education: George Muellner, Long Beach, CA (2nd term)

National Secretary: Ed Garland, San Antonio, TX (1st term)

National Treasurer: Len Vernamonti, Clinton, MS (2nd term)

National Director, East Area: Don Michels, Lawrenceville, GA (single, three-year term)

National Director, At-Large (two positions to fill; single, three-year term):

Rick Hartle, Layton, UT
Don Taylor, San Antonio, TX
Kurt Vogel, Alexandria, VA
Steve Wood, Reston, VA
