Message from the Membership Committee

AFA Chapters should consider having a separate recruiting position and retention position to be more successful. Some chapters may find it beneficial to have one member do the recruiting for a chapter and a separate member to focus on retention. Chapters can use the Monthly Chapter Roster Update to identify members that are expiring in the upcoming months. Then contact the member and let them know what the chapter and AFA HQ are doing for them and ask them to renew now. Past Chapter officers would make great Retention Officers because the members should recognize and know them best.
