AFA Public Service Announcements for Radio

AFA headquarters recently created new public service announcements (PSAs) to be used for radio. These public service announcements each have different themes ranging from Technology to our new CyberPatriot competition and are to be used by members to help promote AFA. PSAs are a great way for a non-profit organization like AFA to advertise because radio stations must play our PSAs at no charge.

If you would like to try to help with our latest initiative, it is quite simple. The first step is to locate AFA’s PSAs on our website. The PSAs are in the Media Room on the website and then in the link titled “AFA PSAs” http://www.afa.org/members/videos.asp. The next step is to download the PSAs. You do this by right clicking the title of the PSA. For example, right click “The People” and choose the option “Save Target As.” Once you have the PSA saved, you can open it in Windows Media Player and then choose the option to burn the file you saved to a disc. The final step once you have the PSA burned to a disc is to bring it to your local radio station and ask them to play our PSA, and remind the radio station that AFA is a ‘nonprofit’ organization.
