Update on CyberPatriot IV
CyberPatriot IV, the National High School Cyber Defense Competition, has now drawn in 1,019 teams as registration closed October 8.
These teams come from all across the nation, as well as Puerto Rico and U.S. Department of Defense Dependent Schools in both Europe
and the Pacific.
CyberPatriot is AFA’s flagship science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education program, and the nation’s largest and
fastest growing high school cyber security challenge. Last year’s competition had more than 660 teams vying for a chance to compete
among the top qualifying teams. Its unique structure provides students hands-on learning while competing virtually against their peers
and introduces many to the idea of cyber security as a profession.
The three rounds of CyberPatriot IV online competition begin in late October, and the National Finals Competition will host the
nation’s 24 best teams at AFA’s CyberFutures Conference in the Washington DC area in late March.
Take a look and see if your local high school or CAP squadron is
represented:

We genuinely appreciate all of the support from so many of the AFA staff and members. Thank you for your terrific help in reaching
America’s youth.
