Community Partner Memberships – An Opportunity to Network & Advertise
There are plenty of chapters that can gain AFA members by sharing the AFA mission with community leaders, local businesses, and even their
own members who have not yet recruited their employers as a Community Partner (CP).
Local companies may be Industrial Associates or AFA members at the Corporate Level, however, most companies still want to be involved on
the local level. They just need to be contacted locally and provided with CP information. They may ask the question, “What’s in it for me?”
Make it worth their time and investment. Becoming a Community Partner with AFA provides the opportunity for both networking and
advertising. Each CP has the chance to network with other AFA members. They will also receive recognition several times throughout the
year as someone who cares, as someone who wants to give back, and as supporters of the local military, the Air Force, and our veterans.
Recognition for them can come in many forms -- be creative. Remember, increasing your Community Partner membership will be very rewarding
for both businesses and your AFA Chapter.
