Civil Air Patrol Educational Programs

Since 1996, Civil Air Patrol (CAP) has been a crucial partner of the Air Force Association (AFA), promoting aerospace education and fostering an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) careers, helping AFA in impacting hundreds of thousands of K-12 students across the country. AFA is a non-profit, independent, professional military and aerospace education association promoting public understanding of aerospace power and the pivotal role it plays in the security of the nation. More information about AFA can be found HERE.

CAP works alongside AFA to provide free education programs for AFA chapters to share with local educators. AFA is also a presenting sponsor for the unique grade-level specific ACE program for grades K-8. To find out more about these free STEM programs, click HERE.

AFA and CAP have united to join each other’s organizations, leverage resources, and work toward the promotion of STEM careers. As a thank you to CAP members for all they do, AFA is excited to extend a complimentary two year membership to CAP members joining AFA for the first time!
