AFA Statement on Ukraine and the Upcoming AFA Warfare Symposium

Russia’s invasion of Ukrainian territory highlights the growing threats to global security posed by foreign powers bent on expanding spheres of influence by force as opposed to friendship. The Air Force Association stands with the U.S. government and NATO allies in condemning Russia’s aggression. 

“The case for preeminent air and space forces could not be clearer and underscores the need for professional events like the 2022 AFA Warfare Symposium that bring together warfighters and industry partners to discuss challenges and opportunities to enhance U.S. national security,” said AFA President Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Bruce “Orville” Wright.

AFA will host the symposium as planned March 2-4.
