Civil Air Patrol is the auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force and a congressionally-chartered non-profit. With 540 single-engine aircraft and 64,000 volunteers, it flies missions as a Total Force partner supporting 90% of inland search missions among other critical, non-combatant priorities including slow-mover targets for practice intercepts and the Rated Pilot Preparatory Program.
