Radia is building the world’s largest cargo aircraft, the WindRunner, with 12x larger volume than a 747 and the ability to land on short, unpaved runways. The WindRunner is a multi-use air cargo platform whose primary mission is enabling the deployment of much larger onshore wind turbines that would otherwise not be transportable terrestrially and which can enable the cheapest energy in the world. The WindRunner can also be used for defense, aerospace, and other oversized cargo applications in addition to wind energy.
