Celebrate Military Spouse Appreciation Day

Military Spouse Day or Military Spouse Appreciation Day is celebrated on the Friday before Mother’s Day in the United States. Many United States citizens take this day to acknowledge the significant contributions, support, and sacrifices of spouses of their Armed Forces.

The strength of Airmen comes from the strength of their families, and the Air Force spouse is the backbone of that support and strength. Air Force spouses are vital to the strength, resilience, and readiness of Airmen because they enable Airmen to remain focused on their missions.

That’s why AFA’s advocacy efforts not only focus on Air Force superiority, but also on the need to support spouses, caregivers and surviving family members.
