Senior Mentorship for Junior Leaders

The Doolittle Leadership Center’s “Senior Mentorship for Junior Leaders” series connects seniors leaders from the Air and Space Forces with USAFA cadets, ROTC cadets, and Silver Wings students—the leaders of tomorrow. The DLC organizes and hosts a workshop twice a year, at each of AFA’s major conferences.

The Legends of Air & Space Tour

In 2022, the DLC created the “Legends of Air and Space Tour” to connect today’s Airmen and Guardians with the wisdom of great leaders of the recent past. An amazing group of Air and Space Force living Legends toured eight Air Force and Space Force bases, shared their stories with more than 3,500 Airmen and Guardians, and more importantly, listened to their concerns and offered advice to address the issues they face today.

The 2022 Legends Tour included 11 retired Air and Space senior leaders, including a Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; a Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; Combatant Commanders; an Air Force Chief of Staff; an Air Force Vice Chief of Staff; Major Command Commanders; Numbered Air Force Commanders; two Chief Master Sergeants of the Air Force; a Combatant Command Senior Enlisted Leader; and a Command Chief Master Sergeant of a Major Command.
