ENGAGE Live: Wellness on the Homefront
Join AFA’s United Forces & Families (F2) Program for a special event, “ENGAGE Live: Wellness on the Homefront.”
Attendees will receive the first exclusive look at AFA’s latest ENGAGE edition, featuring stories of modern-day military family’s journey to wellness in all of its forms. Learn more about ENGAGE.
This event will include a fireside chat with Corie Weathers, a clinical advisor on military morale and leadership, followed by the highly anticipated data release of groundbreaking findings from the Military Spouse & Veteran Spouse Wellness Survey (MVSWS), a collaborative research initiative between the University of Texas at Austin’s Institute for Military and Veteran Family Wellness and InDependent. This first-of-its-kind research survey was conducted to better understand the wellness of spouses across eight dimensions, including critical areas such as mental health, financial wellness, family dynamics and more. The survey gathered detailed data from approximately 1,200 military and veteran spouses. Learn more about the survey.
