East Georgia AFA Celebrates Community at Dobbins Fall Festival
October 28, 2025
The East Georgia AFA chapter participated in the Fall Festival at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, Ga., on September 6, 2025.
The 94th Airlift Wing, based at Dobbins, plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. Air Force by providing combat-ready Airmen for global missions and humanitarian efforts, including airlift and aeromedical evacuation operations. The wing is composed of more than 2,000 members who travel to Dobbins ARB from across more than 40 states.
Dobbins’ 2025 Fall Festival featured various vendors, veteran service organizations, family support representatives, games and food, as well as several static displays, including a C-130H3 Hercules from the 94th Airlift Wing, a KC-46 Pegasus from the 507th Air Refueling Wing from Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., UH-60 Black Hawk and UH-72 Lakota helicopters from the Georgia National Guard and an F-35 Lightning II from the Alabama Air National Guard.
Many Reservists stationed at Dobbins are local to Georgia or the surrounding southeastern region, making East Georgia AFA especially beneficial for these Airmen and their families.
