Kathleen Ferguson

Kathleen Ferguson served nearly 35 years as a Department of the Air Force civilian, retiring after serving as the Principal Assistant Secretary for Installations, Energy, and Environment. Today she advocates for defense communities nationwide as a principal with the Roosevelt Group. She has been responsible for plans, policies, programs, and budgets; has expertise in installations, energy, environment, safety, and occupational health; and has extensive experience at domestic and overseas installations and at the Pentagon.
A civil engineer by training with a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s in Public Administration from Auburn University, she has received three Presidential Rank Awards for her work, and has furthered her education with programs at the Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., and Harvard University’s Program for Senior Managers in Government.
