The President’s Club of Dayton honored two leaders of AFA’s Wright Memorial Chapter in Dayton, Ohio—Anna Schulte and Joni Ahlers—at a special ceremony held May 9. The awards recognized Schulte and Ahlers for their amazing volunteer contributions to AFA, the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base community, and the Greater Miami Valley community.

Schulte serves as the Wright Memorial Chapter’s Vice President for JROTC/CAP programs. Her award from the President’s Club was in recognition for her amazing support to 15 regional JROTC and eight Civil Air Patrol units, where she mentors cadets and provides critical resources. She was also recognized for her remarkable contributions to the Wright-Patterson USO and “Airman’s Attic,” a marketplace that provides free clothing and furniture to Airmen E-6 and below.

Ahlers serves as the Wright Memorial Chapter’s Special Event Coordinator. Her superior thought leadership, extensive planning, and attention to detail are key to making the Air Force Balls a resounding success. She also earned recognition for her incredible contributions to the Dayton-area Chapters of AFCEA and Women in Defense (WID).

Congratulations to these two incredible professionals and wonderful volunteers!
