AFA National Director, West Area, Honors 24 Retired Vietnam Vets

On Oct. 4, Bobi Oates, AFA National Director, West Area, presented Vietnam Veteran lapel pin to the Veterans at the Ardiente Active Adult community in N. Las Vegas, Nev. Oates was invited following a pin presentation at the Veterans Cemetery earlier this year. The event recognized 16 Vietnam veterans who were in attendance, plus eight veterans (including two women) who were not present. There were veterans from all branches of service.
