Airmen in the Fight Speaker Series Debut

The Air Force Association is proud to unveil our first session in our Airmen in the Fight Speaker Series. Our inaugural speaker is Maj Gen John Shaw, the combined Force Space Component Commander, U.S. Space Command, and Commander, Space Operations Command, U.S. Space Force. Maj Gen Shaw discussed U.S. Space Force personnel, training, and the progress of standing U.S. Space Force since its creation six months ago.

As Commander of U.S. Space Command’s Combined Force Space Component Command, Maj Gen Shaw leads more than 17,000 joint and combined personnel with a mission to plan, integrate, conduct and assess global space operations in order to deliver combat relevant space capabilities to Combatant Commanders, Coalition partners, the joint force and the nation.
