AFA CyberCamps: The first week of AFA CyberCamps kicked off on June 5th with camps across the United States. This year there are approximately 310 registered camps reaching 4,000-7,000 students. Click here to find a registered CyberCamp near you.

CyberPatriot XVI: Registration for the 2023-2024 season of the national youth cyber defense competition is open! Teams registered before July 1 will receive a 20% discount on registration fees. The deadline to register a team is Tuesday, October 3, 2023. (Reminder: Teams must re-register for the new season. Registrations from previous seasons do NOT carry over.)

StellarXplorers Program Office Launches Sample Scenario Contest 

Win a $100 Amazon gift card! The StellarXplorers Program Office needs new sample scenarios that can be used by teams to prepare for the STLX Space Design Competition. Current and past participants (team directors, mentors, and competitors) can submit their best scenarios for a chance to win.

All scenarios must be submitted to competition@stellarxplorers.org by July 31, 2023. Winners will be chosen by August 10. Learn more here.

StellarCamps Gets a New Look

Over the past several months, the StellarXplorers Program Office has been busy refreshing its StellarCamp materials for the upcoming season of space design-focused summer camps.

Through camps hosted by organizations across the country, students in grades 6-12 will learn about the history of space exploration, rocketry, interplanetary missions, and space careers. They’ll also learn the importance of teamwork and problem solving when it comes to orbit planning, satellite components, and launch vehicle selection for space missions.
