L3Harris Donates $50,000 to StellarXplorers for Eighth Year in a Row 

Arlington, Va. — The Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) announced that L3Harris Technologies has once again demonstrated its commitment to the future space workforce, contributing $50,000 to AFA’s StellarXplorers Space STEM Program. This marks the eighth consecutive year L3Harris has supported StellarXplorers at this level. 

“L3Harris has been a consistent and invaluable partner,” said Rebecca Dalton, StellarXplorers Director of Operations. “Each year, their generous support helps us engage more students through meaningful, hands-on STEM experiences. We’re seeing firsthand how this ignites their excitement about space and inspires them to pursue future careers in the space industry. 

This funding will help StellarXplorers expand its national footprint, inspire greater interest in STEM among young learners, and continue building a strong pipeline of future space industry leaders. 

The funding will allow StellarXplorers to broaden its engagement with students nationwide, growing awareness of STEM opportunities and cultivating a strong pipeline of future space industry leaders.

The StellarXplorers Space STEM Program, created by the Air & Space Forces Association (AFA), inspires high school and middle school students toward careers in space and other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation’s future. The StellarXplorers National Space Design Competition provides specific training in the use of system simulation software, Systems Tool Kit (STK), as well as an interactive online course as a curriculum supplement and study resource for online quizzes given during the competition.
