Field Operations Update: May 2023

For my first edition of AFA in Action I want to inform everyone of a new method for tracking our advocacy efforts. It is called the Congressional Tracker. It is a document that is shared on the OneDrive. I am forwarding the trackers to the Region and State Presidents for their use. We will have a new Training Module which will demonstrate how to use this valuable tool.

These trackers are unique for each AFA Region. They contain a separate spreadsheet for each state and a Totals spreadsheet that sums up the required columns. The names of every Senator and Congressman are on the spreadsheets. We ask the States to determine which chapters are responsible for contacting the specific members. We are tracking the members of Congress who have someone on their staff receive the AFA Daily Report, if they are members of the Air or Space Force Caucus, and we are tracking the number of times you reach out to the member.
